American Fuel Tanks is equipped to build tanks in a variety of shapes and sizes to approximately 2500 gallons. We bend, roll, punch, cut, shear, fit and weld with our own in house equipment. For jobs that require custom machine work, we can either use customer supplied parts, or use one several excellent local machine shops.
We are capable of bending, shearing, and rolling 12 foot sheets of 1/4 inch material. All welding equipment is the latest model Miller Synchrowave, Miller Tig and Mig and our welders are aircraft certified. Our welders can run argon-helium blends for heavy duty welding, and we have pre-heating ovens for the thick pieces we mig weld, like the Solar Turbines engine stands.
