Marine Fuel Tanks
These are a few examples of aluminum tanks we have built as replacement fuel tanks for our marine customers. Tanks are typically built of either 1/8″ , 3/16″, or 1/4 aluminum plate. Dimensions of the old tank are taken and one or more new tanks are designed to fit into the space of the old tank without requiring extensive removal of engine, deck, or hull components if at all possible. Tanks are typically built with 1-1/2″ filler necks, with a 1/2″ vent fitting. Sizes vary by application. Pickup and return lines are typically 3/8″, but again may be altered to fit your particular application.
