American Tanks is equipped to build tanks in a variety of shapes and sizes up to approximately 2,500 gallons. We bend, roll, punch, cut, shear, fit, and weld with our own in-house equipment.
We are capable of bending, shearing, and rolling 12-foot sheets of material up to 1/4 inch thick. Our welding equipment includes modern Miller Synchrowave, TIG, and MIG systems, and our welders are aircraft certified.
We can run argon-helium blends for heavy-duty welding and use pre-heating ovens for thick MIG-welded components such as turbine-engine stands. When custom machine work is required, we coordinate with trusted local machine shops or use customer-supplied parts.
Most importantly, we bring decades of practical experience to every marine-tank replacement project.
