Tank Building & Replacement Process

Tank Building

  1. Customer supplies 3D drawings/specifications, or we measure the tank on site.
  2. Tank estimate is delivered.
  3. Customer places a deposit to begin work.
  4. Material flatsheets are ordered.
  5. Material is cut to dimensions with shears.
  6. Parts are bent with the brake.
  7. Tank is welded using Miller MIG or TIG equipment.
  8. Fitting holes are cut and fittings/brackets welded on.
  9. Sending unit is installed.
  10. Every tank is pressure-tested to 5 PSI.

Tank Removal

  1. Pump out old fuel.
  2. Disconnect plumbing, wiring, and mounting hardware.
  3. Cut the old tank into removable sections when necessary.
  4. Remove and dispose of old tank sections.
  5. Prepare and clean the tank space.

Re-Installation

  1. Move new tank sections into the vessel.
  2. Secure tanks and connect plumbing, vents, pickups, returns, and sending units.
  3. Inspect and test the completed installation.
